It is perfect for durable graphics on both coated and uncoated substrates up to 1615mm wide with a maximum media weight of 30KG. Mutoh’s new ValueJet 1618 printer prints full-color posters, banners, backlit panels, POS displays, notices, signs, stickers and more. High speed roll to roll printing (optional HD take-up system available) with brilliant results at a price you can afford.

The new ValueJet 1618 has 2 heads (180 nozzles x 8 lines) and 12 printing modes allowing print resolutions of 1440/720/540 dpi. The new ValueJet 1618 has impeccable print quality with Mutoh’s Drop-On Demand-Piezo Drive Method. The media-drying system includes individually controlled pre, platen, and post heaters for proven results. 

The ValueJet 1618 uses Mutoh’s i2 Intelligent Interweaving print technology so ink is laid down carefully in optimized wave forms, not in straight lines as used in traditional printing practices. This technique allows for increased print speeds and virtually eliminates banding and ink mottle. In addition, you get increased dot gain control, allowing more latitude in profile settings. These acclaimed inks produce prints with 3 years outdoor durability without lamination and 5 to 7 years with lamination.

This piezo print head technology is responsible for making the images stand out and look incredibly sharp. Its increased accuracy and consistency of dot size and dot release during printing improves the image, in addition to increased dot gain control, allowing for more latitude in profile settings.

Intelligent Interweave print technology (i2) virtually eliminates banding.  i² allows for increased print speeds and helps create breathtaking image quality.
